Enhancements in SPDRM v1.11.2
Data Management
For Attributes with a closed list of accepted values, it is now possible to associate each of their values with a different set of ACLs. This way, DM objects can become "private" or "public" based on the value of an attribute, say Status. Changing the attribute value for some object, the corresponding set of ACLs is applied.
Process Design / Execution
When BAL fails to launch an application, the error message is propagated to the user who initiated the action.
A more informative error message appears during the execution of an application node, in case the path of the referenced application is not valid.
Script API
The script function process.getObservableJobs is implemented, which allows retrieving of all existing observable jobs and their attributes.
In addition, the script function process.getObserversConfiguration is introduced, which returns the attributes of the observers.conf file.
Web Services - API
The REST endpoint api/dm/v2/dmobjects is introduced, which can be used to handle the sorting of the queried DM objects.
System Configuration
It is now possible to export and import scheduled job definitions in SPDRM, facilitating the migration of configuration between SPDRM environments (e.g. dev/test and production).
Users Management - Security
From now on, SPDRM login allows case-insensitive username matching.
The regular expression for validating the Email Address field of SPDRM users has been extended to accept a broader range of expressions.
Known issues resolved in SPDRM v1.11.2
Data Search
Queries for alternative items through the DM tab of ANSA Model Browser would not work as expected.
Reports added under a Subsystem would not be listed in the search lists in KOMVOS.
Data Lifecycle
Overwrite would not be offered as a conflict resolution option upon trying to save in DM a Library item, in case the conflicting item had history links.
Script API
The type of the reference created, using the script function dm.cloneDMItem, between the original item and the cloned one would be of type 'multi/single-variant' instead of 'strong referee/referrer'.
Users Management - Security
Search for LDAP users through the respective tool in the SPDRM Client would fail in case the returned list included users with empty/blank username.
For more details about the new software features, enhancements and corrections please refer to the Release Notes document.
