BETA CAE Systems is proud to announce that was recommended and accepted as a member of the CFD General Notation System (CGNS) steering committee.

The CFD General Notation System (CGNS) provides a general, portable, and extensible standard for the storage and retrieval of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis data. It consists of a collection of conventions, and free and open software for their implementation. It is self-descriptive, machine-independent, well-documented, and administered by an international steering committee.

After a long co-operation with CGNS committee members, BETA has been honoured with a formal position to the steering committee to play an active role in the progress of the field. We extend our appreciation and gratitude to our partners on this new mission, and express our commitment to the objectives of this community.
